There are so many fireflies
Posted in: Uncategorized
There are so many fireflies at night, in the woods and the underbrush. A favorite after-dinner activity is for a number of the crew members to take a leisurely stoll together up to the top of the hill. When the road passes under an avenue of thre trees, so that one sees it like a dark tunnel shaded fromt he light of the moon, the fireflies flashing all down its length look like snowflakes, seen from below when you lie on your back during a midnight snow flurry, looking up into the sky.
